1001 small things in preparation for the Artist Project

The Artist Project is less then a month away and the excitement is building! In the studio there are 1001 small things to be done, at times I feel like I'm running around like a chicken with no head. But, I have my lists, I like lists, lists are my friend :D and I'm happy to say that at this point my lists are actually getting shorter, although new stuff is still being added occasionally.

It's all good though, I feel like I'm pretty well prepared and I'm really looking forward to the show! If you didn't have a chance yet, check out my artist profile on the Artist Project website, it'll give you a little sneak peek at some of the work that I will be bringing to the show. Oh, and if you're planning on joining us in Toronto from February 18-21, you can buy your tickets online now, there's even a nice little discount if you use the Promo Code BUISMANP16.

There was a little article in Journal M├ętro about my participation in the Artist Project which is awesome! You can check it out hereOn February 12th between 8-9am, tune into the Friday morning after on CKUT Radio (90.3FM) to hear Denise Buisman PilgerJono Doiron and Louis-Bernard St.-Jean talk about their participation in the Artist Project.

Paintings and Promo Codes.

Hello? World? Are you still there?...

I have emerged from my studio after, what feels like months of continues painting. But, hard work pays off, safe for some finishing touches here and there, my pieces for the Artist Project are finished! and I'm a happy artist!

It has been quite a journey, I have never created this many pieces in such a short amount of time, to be honest, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it. At one point there were panels everywhere, all the table surfaces in my studio were covered with paintings, there were even paintings on my kitchen counter!

If you are curious to see the results of my insane painting hibernation, they will be exhibited in booth 222 at the Artist Project from February 18-21. You can buy your tickets online now, and if you use the Promo Code BUISMANP16 you get a special discount! I'm really looking forward to seeing you all there!

You can now visit my artist profile on the Artist Project website.
